Roulette - How to Play and Win at Online Roulette

Roulette is predominantly a game of chance, but there are a few hints and tips that newcomers can take on board which increase the chances of winning. Stick around, as you might learn a thing or two about roulette.

Croupiers spin the roulette wheel (which is made up of 37 numbers in the European version and 38 in the American), then spins the ball in the opposite direction on a circular track that runs around the wheel. In simple terms, roulette is a game in which players place a variety of bets, such as what number (or numbers) the ball will land on, what colour it will land on and whether the number is even or odd. The number on which the ball lands is called a "pocket". As you can imagine, it would be downright impossible to place bets on the roulette wheel itself, so casinos have a corresponding roulette table, where they can place players bets. To the inexperienced, roulette can seem an incredibly simple game, but like all casino games, savvy players know that there are a variety of tricks available to use and exploit.
